The future of entertainment today is not going to happen without the help of the retailers that have been with the artists & fans seemingly finding themselves at odds with an industry that needs them more then they need the industry.
We, Altavoz, feel that a rekindling with the American retailers of entertainment goods-- which is often Mom & Pop shops --needs to be #1 priority for everyone in entertainment! Considering that the last 17 years there has been no real innovation in how entertainment goods are retailed and that the distributors and labels are still trying to sell records at prices that no longer makes sense.
Heck! Any 6th grader can tell you that we have state of the art manufacturing capabilities.There is many things that we plan to do with the retailers that will connect them to the artists, fans and organizations that have been forming communities online; We're going to show the retailers and stores of entertainment how to be part of that community and get folks to shop at a store that carries great entertainment which American independent artists are known the world over to produce
BTW it's not production that is keeping the prices high. It's greed.
